New: Introducing Powerful Integrations and More!

On March 21 we successfully launched Leanbe 2.0 on Product Hunt, becoming a top product of the day. Yes, we did it again

As innovation enthusiasts, having a community of supporters invested in our vision who also share our passion for innovation means a lot to us.

Since then, our users’ experience and workflow efficiency have been our top priorities.

And now’s the time to share the changes we’ve made as part of our commitment to continuous innovation.

Centralized Idea Management with GitHub Integration

Now you can automatically push issues from GitHub to Leanbe as ideas by connecting your GitHub account with your Leanbe account. This integration was highly requested.

Select your repository and the desired issue by choosing the label you assigned to it beforehand.

Additionally, if you want to add a new issue, it will automatically be added to your Leanbe account’s ‘Ideas’ section. Even if you change the name of the issue, it will be updated automatically on your Leanbe account.

With this integration, we wanted to simplify idea sharing and progress tracking for teams collaborating on development and ideation.

However, not only developers but also GitHub users can add issues.

In addition, GitHub Integration fosters transparency and visibility across teams, helping non-technical stakeholders contribute to development progress and stay informed.

Streamlined Workflow with two-way Jira Integration

The integration we’ve all been waiting for!

As you connect your Leanbe account to your Jira account and choose your project, all your epics can automatically be transferred to your Leanbe account as epics with just a click.

Similarly, if you create a new epic in your Leanbe account, it will automatically appear in your Jira Epics backlog. And, the same applies to other Jira elements (e.g. story, task, or improvement.)

As a result, it is easy for teams to move between both platforms without duplicating efforts or losing vital information.

Connecting Epics in Leanbe with tasks in Jira allows you to trace feature progress from start to finish, maintaining visibility throughout the development process.

Product teams can now integrate strategic planning in Leanbe with practical execution in Jira. The latter ensures that product goals are aligned with development efforts.

Additional Features and Improvements

  • You can now sort ideas by upvotes and creation date on the public portal.
  • From now on, you can add private ideas only visible to you, thus, gaining more control over them.
  • Adding internal comments to epics is now available!
  • Almost every popup is changed to banners (when creating, editing, or deleting an item), improving user experience in the platform.

…and More!

Some other fixes include but are not limited to:

  • Pricing changes: with the free version you can now invite 5 team members. To invite more team members, you’ll have to pick the “Starter”, “Business,” or “Enterprise” plans.
The “Starter” plan has only 2 roles: “Admin” & “Product Manager.”

But when you upgrade to a ‘Business’ plan, the following roles appear:

    Contributor
    Support
    Technical
    Finance
    Marketing
    Admin

  • Seeing the idea’s voters list on the idea view page: you can see who voted for every idea.
  • Creating an idea by attaching the idea request screen, making it easier to create new ideas from existing requests.
  • Possibility to add an assignee to an idea.
  • Bug fixes related to responsiveness to improve the user experience across a variety of devices.
  • More bug fixes related to our widget icon, ensuring that the correct dimension is between the widget and the icon.

As always, we hope these improvements and resolutions will enhance your experience of Leanbe as your go-to platform for product management.
